In case you’re unaware, Chevrolet threw its hat into the ring this year with an all-new rear-wheel drive (RWD), 4-door performance vehicle known as the SS Sedan. The 2014 Chevrolet SS Sedan brings back the glory days of Chevy RWD dominance, ending with the 1994-1996 Chevy Impala SS. The SS will feature a LS3 6.2L V-8 capable of 415 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque.
For fun, we’re crawling in and out of the new car in the above video by Saabkyle04’s YouTube review. The narrator/cameraman starts and stops the engine remotely to demonstrate the SS’ standard, advanced technology; he then revs the car while capturing the powerful sound on video from every angle imaginable; and he wraps-up the video with an in-depth critique of every nook and cranny of the SS.
After watching the review, it seems the general overall feeling is this car was built well and offers a lot of creature comforts. It’s our opinion that the 2014 Chevrolet SS Sedan should be a good seller against any RWD, 4-door BMW, Lexus, Charger, and Mercedes. Take a look and see what this new performance sedan is all about; you may want to visit a nearby dealer to crawl in and out of one.
